The film is composed by several snippets that were trivial, ordinary, accidental things happening everyday outside in the streets. The main material of the film consists of scenes taking place in Beijing and was shot in the years 2001-2005. By watching the snippets of daily life, you may be able to see our real life in China, as there are so many things that we can see and hear, but beyond your imagination in “outside”. The things ceaselessly begin and end. Nevertheless what the camera-eye of the filmmaker fixed will stay for ever. Wang Wo would have been able to be a famous journalist, fortunately he chose the pictures, with him the common becomes almost exceptional. Not considered as a completely hands-on lesson, this documentary not deprived of humour and of dramatic tension aims to capture the present moment, even if this play of the long strings shot without untidy nor visible intention, where every scene is directly connected to the following one, says more about it than long speeches. a documentary by Wang Wo (China) FILM : 78 min.
